High school, college, and law students provide help and support to immigrants during the process of applying for asylum. They work with attorneys and mentors from different areas to ensure that these clients are prepared for their case. We aim to assist immigrants and Latinos alike in a way that is able to establish a sense of community and provide opportunities and resources for those who need them.
–Educate youth on the intricacies of legal procedures and raise awareness in the community about the difficulties immigrants face both legally and psychologically.
-Encourage youth to actively participate in supporting, integrating and protecting of our communities immigrants.
-Introduce the program to other high schools and communities in need.
– Provide internships and peer groups for those who need them.
